Student Success initiatives aim to increase the credit accumulation of SHEA students. The Student Success Team and their teachers meet monthly to discuss students who are not achieving to their highest potential, discuss support plans, and to monitor these plans.
The following initiatives are in place at SHEA to assist students:

•
Credit Rescue –Teachers offer an opportunity for a student to complete missed or incomplete assignments in order to “rescue” their credit, prevent being unsuccessful in the course.
•
Transitions Initiatives – A variety of projects are in place at SHEA to assist students transitioning from grade 8 to 9 and from grade 12 to post-secondary opportunities.
